Projects

Things I've built and research I've conducted.

Hungry Machines

An energy management system that automatically shifts HVAC, EV charger, home battery, and water heater electric use to cheaper time-of-use hours. Learns your home's thermal behavior and factors in weather forecasts to cut electric bills while keeping you in control.

Async Energy

Scheduling for AI workloads that can wait. Batch inference, fine-tuning runs, and agent pipelines get moved into the cheapest electricity hours while still hitting their deadlines. A local controller runs the jobs and measures the power actually drawn, so the savings can be checked rather than estimated.

NoteTalker

A local-first AI assistant that turns your notes into a searchable knowledge system. Plain markdown files, semantic search, voice chat, a built-in CRM, calendar integration, and a knowledge graph that shows how your notes connect. Everything runs on your own machine.

Next Evolution

AI-powered SEO analysis optimized for AI search engines, fully automated content marketing pipelines, and strategic AI business consulting to help businesses thrive in the AI-powered web.

MyBookFindr

Transform your personal library into curated discoveries. Upload photos of your bookshelves to unlock personalized recommendations, your literary personality, and connections with like-minded readers.

Meeple Beats

Wanted to try out some new tools. I have some more songs half-done, so let me know if you like this and I can finish them up.

Ship Collision and the Offshore Floating Nuclear Plant (OFNP): Analysis of Possible Threats and Security Measures

Research conducted at MIT to assess the physical security of an OFNP. Published as Center for Advanced Nuclear Energy Systems Technical Report ANP-TR-168 and presented at the International Congress on Advances in Nuclear Power Plants in 2017.

An Analysis of the Loads on and Dynamic Response of a Floating Flexible Tube in Waves and Currents

Research conducted at the U.S. Naval Academy to assess a NASA solution to treat wastewater and produce algae for large-scale biofuel production. Presented at the ASME 33rd International Conference on Ocean, Offshore, and Arctic Engineering in June 2014.
